Providing Accounting and Medicaid Reimbursement Services to Washington Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities.

Debbie’s Background and Experience:

I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Oregon and Washington.  My main focus over the past 30 years has been on Medicaid Reimbursement issues affecting Nursing Homes in Washington.  My objective is to assist my clients in obtaining the reimbursement rates to which they are entitled.  I have presented a number of reimbursement seminars for the Washington and Oregon Nursing Home Associations over the years and most recently co-presented two all day seminars on Washington Medicaid issues in June, 2011.   I have been a member or thee Chair/Vice Chair of the Professional Responsibility Strategic Interest Team (a.k.a. the Ethics Committee) of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) since 1988.  I currently serve as the Chair-Elect of OSCPA.  I am a board member of the Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin Schools and a member of the Parent Mentor group at Tigard High School.  I  recently completed three years as Treasurer for Service Unit 5 of the Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington.  I am a past board member of the Tigard High School PSO and Athletic Booster Club.  I am active in my church, St. Clare Parish.
